‘More than Rubies’ is a fellowship where we care about our sisters and our homes – body soul and spirit. We take our cue from two scriptures;

• Proverbs 3:15 which says “she is more precious than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her”.
• Proverbs 31:10 “Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.”

In the first scripture, ‘she’ refers to wisdom. By His grace, this year, we will be known as women of rare wisdom. The worth of a virtuous woman is more than rubies. The Lord will make us virtuous women indeed in Jesus Name. Amen.

Our terms are as follows:

Hostess:

1. Between January and December, we will each undertake to host our group members.
2. When hosting we are to provide refreshments – first from the word and secondly for our bodies.
3. You can choose any day towards the end of each which will be convenient for us all.

Guests:

1. We will each endeavour to attend all the fellowship meetings, (it’s not just about the contribution).
2. We will each present household items of a value agreed upon to the hostess at the meeting.
3. We will each present an agreed upon sum to the hostess at the meeting.

General

1. We expect our fellowships to be brief (one hour only). This is to make it sustainable, discourage late coming and enable us to have more of Him and less of us.
